Organic vs Non-Organic Foods ?

Organic foods are food items produced without any synthetics such as chemical fertilizers and pesticides and they are not genetically modified. Non-organic foods, on the other hand, use synthetics to produce the finished food products.

There has been a large movement towards consuming organic foods that relates to food safety. While many individuals believe consuming organic foods is safer than consuming nonorganic foods, a lack of scientific evidence exists supporting this hypothesis. Furthermore, the Food and Drug Administration has concluded that the limited amount of pesticides found in nonorganic foods does not cause or contribute to any health-related issues. This is in addition to the fact that organic foods are very expensive, and many people cannot afford buying them.

Whereas, hard skin food items such as sweet potatoes, pineapple, mango, kiwi, eggplant, papaya, & cantaloupe can be bought non-organic since their skin prevents or limits the entrance of pesticides and chemicals to the inside of the vegetable or fruits.
